You just got engaged and you have your budget set. You are ready to get to work. "So, what's the next step", you ask...The task at hand should be your date, guest list, and location. Your wedding date and guest list are very important when considering a location for your special day.
Something important to think about when setting your wedding date is that this is the day that you and your husband/wife-to-be will celebrate as the day that your lives became one. Will it be a day that is significant for your entire family? Or will it be one that only has very special meaning to the two of you? How flexible are you with your date? Will you consider changing it if your desired location is booked on the day that you have chosen?
Once your date is set, it is time to move on to the guest list. Who do you want to share in this special day with you? Will it be an intimate affair with your closest family & friends? Will you invite all of your distant aunts, uncles, and cousins who you don't talk to regularly but would be devastated if they didn't receive an invitation? Can your desired location accommodate you and all of your guests?

These, as well as many more, are important questions to consider when figuring out what your budget will be.
Whatever your magic number is, make sure it's an amount that you are comfortable spending to ensure that your wedding is exactly what YOU want it to be. It's also important to include a little extra money in case any surprises arise because, although you will have a wonderful wedding planner to assist you & make sure everything goes as planned, it's always a great idea to have a back up plan.
