Engagement Season Is Here!!!!

With so many couples getting engaged and being overjoyed with excitement, many still have no idea where or when to start planning. "When do we start planning our wedding?" is just the question that we are here to answer today.

Once you have the date set, you should start planning about 12-18 months before your wedding date. You should start by agreeing on a theme and/or style. What is your wedding going to say about you as a couple? From there you should pick a time to announce your engagement. This may be the time when you want to give your family and friends a small glimpse at what they can expect to see on your wedding day.

The most important aspect of the planning process is your budget. Set a very realistic budget and make sure you leave room for surprises. Now that the budget is set, it's time for research. Make a list of what you want and what is most important to you. Based on this list, you should look for the venues and vendors that you need. Who you decide to meet with should be within your set budget as well as reflect your theme and/or style.

We hope this was a helpful starting point. Now sit back and enjoy your engagement!

Happy Planning!!
