Let's Have A Toast!:::Fall Signature Cocktails

When I think of fall, I think of Pumpkin Pie, Carmel Apples, and Apple Cider. Beautiful reds, warm golden browns, with pops of orange and visions of the fall leaves on the ground come to mind.

As you plan your fall themed wedding, you don't want to forget your signature cocktail. It should be a drink that reminds you and your guests of fall and the beauty that it brings. It can coordinate with your wedding colors or simply be an all time favorite of the bride and groom. Whatever you decide on, make it delicious and memorable.

Here are a few ideas that we found that would make a delicious reminder of your beautiful fall wedding:

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Isn't that beautiful? Here are a couple more cocktails that would be great for your fall wedding.

Here Comes The Brides - The Elegant Bridal Experience

This past Sunday, we had a chance to have a booth at our first bridal show. We could not have asked for a better experience for our first show. We got the opportunity to meet wonderful vendors who we will definitely be working with in the future as well as some beautiful brides whose weddings we hope to the opportunity to be apart of. Our booth was designed by our friends at Flowers on Mars and we never stopped receiving compliments on how beautifully blinged out it was.

While at the show we also held a raffle for all of the brides who visited our booth. The winning bride will receive our day-of coordination package free (an $850 value). We will be announcing the winner of the raffle on the blog next week.

We definitely enjoyed our experience at the bridal show and be on the look out for La Bella Vision at many more!!

La Bella Vision Loves Wish Upon A Wedding!

It's National Raise Awareness Week for Wish Upon A Wedding and what better way to raise awareness for such a wonderful organization than to tell you why we love them so much!

Wish Upon A Wedding (WUW) is America's ONLY Wedding Wish Granting Organization. Wish Upon A Wedding, along with vendors throughout the nation, produces weddings and civil union ceremonies for terminally ill individuals. How could you not love them? The organization has 20 chapters throughout the nation with more opening up soon.

So, how can you help? Well, it's very simple and quick. If you would like to be a wish granter in your area or a committee volunteer, simply go to their site and fill out the online application form. Wish Upon A Wedding is looking for everyone from caterers to videographers.

If you have a wedding wish that you want to be granted, this is simple too! By visiting the site, you can learn more about the wish granting process and who can apply. It's as simple as filling out an online application to be considered.

So, if you have been looking for ways to help others, we think this is a great organization to start with.

We can't wait to help out!

P.S. Don't forget to become a fan on Facebook and follow them on Twitter!

When, Who & Where?

You just got engaged and you have your budget set. You are ready to get to work. "So, what's the next step", you ask...The task at hand should be your date, guest list, and location. Your wedding date and guest list are very important when considering a location for your special day.

Something important to think about when setting your wedding date is that this is the day that you and your husband/wife-to-be will celebrate as the day that your lives became one. Will it be a day that is significant for your entire family? Or will it be one that only has very special meaning to the two of you? How flexible are you with your date? Will you consider changing it if your desired location is booked on the day that you have chosen?

Once your date is set, it is time to move on to the guest list. Who do you want to share in this special day with you? Will it be an intimate affair with your closest family & friends? Will you invite all of your distant aunts, uncles, and cousins who you don't talk to regularly but would be devastated if they didn't receive an invitation? Can your desired location accommodate you and all of your guests?

Our next post will expand on the where part of this post. There are many options available when deciding on a location for your wedding. Remember that whatever you decide, it should be a reflection of you as a couple.

Happy Planning!!
